Collection and processing of data, including personal data, if any.

Each time a user accesses our website, data will be stored in a log-file for internal system-related and statistical purposes only. In detail, during each visit on our website, the following data will be stored:

  • the pages you access on our website;
  • date and duration of your visit on our website;
  • the identification of the browser and type of operating system;
  • the website from which you visit us.

Collection of personal data

Personal data shall not be collected unless you provide them voluntarily, e.g. for purposes of an application (Article 88 of the GDPR), contact, initiation or execution of a contract (Article 6(b) of the GDPR). In that case, we will collect the following data:

  • your name,
  • your company name;
  • your country;
  • your telephone number;
  • your e-mail address;
  • reference and reason for which you established contact.

If you send documents when you contact us, we will also collect the data that are included in these documents, in addition to the data stipulated above. Your data will be processed within the Federal Republic of Germany or in a country that offers an adequate level of data protection (Article 45(1)). To the extent that personal data must be transferred to a third country, such transfer shall always be subject to the appropriate safeguards in accordance with Article 46 of the GDPR.

The personal data collected during your visit of the websites shall not be processed or used without your consent, except for contacting you, for establishing a business relationship as described in Article 6(b) of the GDPR, for applications as described in Article 88 of the GDPR and in related national laws and any contracts resulting therefrom, as well as for processing your requests (Article 6(b) of the GDPR). If the data must be transferred to third parties for this purpose, such data will be transferred to third parties and/or collected by such third parties on the website.

For marketing purposes and for the purpose of matching the design of our electronic services to the requirements, we will not process or use your personal data we collected and stored unless you gave your prior consent (Article 6(a) of the GDPR).

For order execution purposes, we shall transfer personal data to bodies with which a commissioned data processing agreement was concluded in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. In addition, we shall transfer personal data to third parties to the extent this is required in order to comply with legal requirements (Article 6(c) of the GDPR).

The transfer of personal data to third parties is limited to the cases stipulated in the above paragraphs. Otherwise, no personal data shall be transferred to third parties. Any processing for other purposes requires your express consent in every individual case.

Of course, you may revoke your consent at any time with future effect by simply sending a notification to the address stipulated below.

You are entitled to request information on your personal data we stored (Article 15 of the GDPR). Hiestermann & Frömchen will provide you with a copy of the personal data that were processed. For all additional copies the data subject requests, Hiestermann & Frömchen GmbH shall be entitled to demand a reasonable compensation based on the administrative costs incurred. If the data subject sends such request electronically, all data must be provided in a standard electronic format, unless otherwise stipulated.

In addition, you shall be entitled to demand that incorrect data be corrected (Article 16 of the GDPR) and, provided the legal requirements are fulfilled, that your data be deleted (Article 17 of the GDPR) or made inaccessible (Article 18 of the GDPR).

You have a right to data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR).

Hiestermann & Frömchen GmbH shall ensure that all processors acting for Hiestermann & Frömchen GmbH protect your rights (Article 19 of the GDPR).
